Readability app on iOS


This bookmarking app enables users to save articles they want to read later.


Readability app, which allows users to save articles on their devices to read later, is now coming to iOS. This time the app is completely free.
A paid version for iTunes was proposed last year, but some payment issues led to its withdrawal from the app store. Later its developers had launched a mobile web browser version of Readability appAlso, the web version of Readability may not have worked as anticipated.
"The web's most powerful reading platform is finally arriving on iOS. Download Readability today and we'll notify you as soon as it arrives," a posting on the website of Readability read.
The app helps you bookmark a webpage and read it later either from your tablet, PC or smartphone. Earlier this week it also began offering a news-box like service for free to which users can bookmark up to 30 articles. However, the free service strips the article of graphics, pictures, layout elements etc. and provides only text. Free service users cannot access archives either. The premium service allows users to access unlimited archives, and has other features as well.
